Bank Holiday Bluebell Walk

Is there anything better to do on a Bank Holiday than getting out in the fresh air and just going to a simple walk? We're very lucky in the fact that about 400 metres from our house is the most wonderful and peaceful woods. This is the first time we've been down there since the bluebells have flowered and that was my reason for heading down hope was that the girls would actually let me take a few photos of them without moaning.

It really was a case of getting them to sit quickly to take the photo and then boom off they ran to enjoy the fresh air. Whilst walking around I did manage to find a little creature who didn't seem to bothered with me taking photos of them.

There appeared to be lots of broken trees from the storms and high winds over the winter so this gave Aly all sorts of fun from collecting various sticks and climbing trees which last year she'd never even dream about doing.

Hopefully we'll get to enjoy the woods a lot more over the coming months.
