Beanies Yogart Maker #Review

Of all the many foods that this house seems to go through yogurt is very very high on the lost, trust me we spend about £10 a week on the stuff and that’s pretty much just for the girls. They normally go through about 2 a day every day and would have more if they could. When they asked us if we’d consider a Beanies Yogart Maker to try I thought finally someone has been listening to me moaning.

I have never even attempted to make yogurt at home mainly because I’ve always thought it was a mission impossible but I thought what’s the worst that could happen?

The product comes in pre-weighed packets to make 1litre of live yogurt. It really is simple. Empty the packet into the mixing bowl and add 1 litre of cold water, whisk this together for about 2 minutes until it creates a smooth consistency and then pop into the yogart maker and switch on for about 8 hours and then bam it is done. When it comes out it make have some liquid on the top but once mixed in it is fine. Now what could be easier?

Once the yogurt is made it will last for roughly 5 days in the fridge and most importantly it actually tastes like yogurt should. You can get 6 different flavours such as vanilla, apple & pomegranate, strawberry, lemon, bio and Greek style.

You can also add fruit to your yogurt and this can be done after you’ve made the yogurt.

All in all I’d say this has been a success and will probably be the most used item in the kitchen.

The Beanies Yogart Maker will be released on 2nd September so keep your eyes on their website for more details.
