This week it's picnic week which is one of the best week's of the year. This year we've been trying to have more picnics with the girls and at the moment our favourite places to have these is National Trust locations.
Last year we enjoyed picnics up on Ashdown Forest which had some amazing views and we also enjoyed a Summer picnic on Brighton beach which was perfect and actually very quite.
This was one of the photos from our beach picnic. This year we've had picnics at Bodiam Castle, Sheffield Park and our favourite was Bateman's which is a beautiful house and stunning gardens.
We had an amazing day walking around the gardens and exploring and then we headed off to the private woodland picnic area. The area was a secluded area with trees to shade and it was set away so it wasn't too busy.
As part of Picnic week we've worked with Higgidy to create The Little Higgidy Picnic Guide, it's full of yummy recipes and hints and tips from a great collection of bloggers. Make sure you take a look below.
