Finally, it's actually happened...it stopped raining. I might be the only one but it seems like it's been raining pretty much no stop since October but this week it seems to have finally stopped. This has meant we have managed to actually get out in the garden and get it ready for us to start planting our fruit and vegetables.
Luckily the girls love being in the garden and they love to help get rid of the weeds and play around in the soil which was very handy. There was a time when Aly seemed to hate getting mud on her hands and if she came across a worm or ant she'd run a mile but that has now changed.
With their boots on and old clothes they are more than happy to get stuck in the mud. Of course every now and then they had to disappear to empty their buckets and little wheelbarrow or every now and then pop off to get a chocolate biscuit.
When we actually found a worm it was more a case of which one of them was going to hold it first and I thought at one point there was going to be a fight over a worm.
Aly with said worm.
Mia with the worm.
I just hope the weather stays like this until about November time...is that too much to ask?
