It's taken a little while but I finally got to see a match at the brilliant new Amex Stadium, home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
When approaching the stadium from the train it looks very impressive and our excitement grew.
For 20,000 people trying to get into the ground one way or another it was quick and easy which going on previous experiences was a surprise. Once we got in our soft comfy seats we had a look around and was amazed it really is stunning.
Brighton really where poor and some people around us actually didn't return for the 2nd half...what a mistake!
Brighton came out with a real fight and the introduction of Vicente kicked them into life. And somehow Brighton went into the dying minutes leading 3-2 but as luck would have it Leeds scored a late late goal for it to finish 3-3.
The atmosphere seemed amazing in the second half and the Leeds fans played their parts and as we were down by the away fans we was having some great banter with them and all in good spirits.
Getting back on the train to Lewes was a nightmare and we were queueing for ages but that's part an parcel of the day.
All in all a great evening and I can't wait for our next trip.
