Premier Inn London City Tower Hill Review

Over the course of a year I tend to stay in London between 4 and 6 times. Each time it's in a different location and I like to stay somewhere nearby so I'm not dragging my bags all over London.

In June I headed off to a parent blogger conference and needed to stay overnight so I booked myself into a Premier Inn that I hadn't stayed in before. My chosen hotel was Premier Inn London City Tower HillI've stayed in a few Premier Inn hotels around the country and I stay with them because you know exactly what you get.

You'll always find a comfy bed waiting for you, helpful staff, clean well stocked rooms and usually in central locations.

When arriving I got off at Tower Hill underground which allowed me to walk past the Tower of London and enjoy the views before getting to the hotel which is just a few road away.

I got to the hotel at about 8pm and quickly checked in before going to the restaurant. At this Premier Inn the restaurant is on sight and when I visited it was peaceful and the staff very pleasant. I hadn't pre-booked my meals but they explained the meal deal to me and for £14.99 (I think) I had a soft drink, burger and desert which at London prices is amazing value.

When I got to the room I was greeted with a kingsize bed, flatscreen TV, tea and coffee facilities which were a welcome sight after a long day. The real plus of this room was the massive wall in shower instead of the small cramped ones you can find in London hotels.

Even though this hotel was near to Tower Bridge and pretty much in the centre of London this was one of the quietest hotels I've stayed at. I'm not sure how many people were staying the weekend I was there but I didn't hear any banging of doors, no clomping of feet and had one of the best nights sleeps in a long long time.

If you're looking to stay in London and be close to all the landmarks I'd highly recommend this hotel.

I was given this hotel room for the purpose of this review, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
