I've made no secret of the fact that my girls enjoy ready...more so Aly but Mia is slowly starting to get there. Our books used to be stacked on an old wobbly bookcase that really needed replacing. So luckily the wonderful people at Tidy Books asked if we'd fancy reviewing one of their children's bookcase.
They have a few different designs and this is the one we picked, the natural wood with lowercase lettering, mainly because it ties in with most of our furniture.
We have always tried to keep the children's books somewhere where the girls can get them easily, For us there is no point hiding them away...children need to be able to just pick up a book when they want even if it's just to look at the pictures.
Our children's bookcase is placed in the upstairs hall in between the girls bedrooms so they can grab a book when they like.
When the bookcase arrived it was flat packed and took about 10 minutes to put together. All you have to do is screw a few bits together and then attached it to the wall so it's safe. The quality is amazing and would easily withstand all the rough and tumble you'd expect with children.
