Treating the House to some Yankee Candle Love

When you have children the real battle is not making sure they eat right or getting them to do their homework. Nope the real battle is keeping the house looking presentable. I'm pretty such most family homes are the same and come bedtime it usually means a mass clear up so they can get everything back out again the next day.

Part of this also means trying to make the house smell more welcoming. I am not a fan of our house smelling of damn washing, this evenings dinner or any of the random treats children leave behind.

The lovely people at Yankee Candle got in touch and asked if we'd like to receive a couple of candles to enjoy of an evening and as we're big fans we said yes.

The first one was called Turquoise Sky which is a great Summer fragrance. It really does remind me of the seaside, a light and fresh smell with hints of sea grass.

The second candle was Midsummer's Night which is a bit more of a masculine scent.  At the moment this one is my favourite but it really depends on the mood. We find it very relaxing to have just a candle alight whilst watching TV.

The jars that we received were the Yankee Candle large jar which retails at £19.99 and they have a burning time of around 120 hours which means they will last you a good couple of months even if you burn it every day.

Yankee candles do such a range of products you will never be disappointed.

We were sent these for the purpose of this post, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
