The average person sleeps 6 - 8 hours per day and it they're granted a lie-in then...well they're just lucky.
The bed is where we spend around a 1/4 of our day so it goes without saying that this space should be relaxing and comfortable.
When you have children and they get ill or scared they go straight to mummy & daddy's bed and even as our girls get older this is still true. A sickness bug...in they come, a thunder storm...in they come and so on and so on.
The night time feeds used to take place in our bed, they've had breakfast in our beds and after 5 years our mattress has probably seen better days.
We were contacted by the team at Sloane & Son's asking if we'd be interested in receiving a new mattress...well as we were in real need of one we said yes.
We had a look at their selection and picked the Chelsea pocket sprung mattress which looked luxurious and perfect for us. They delivered the next day for us and it arrived in a rather large box, so it needed to be opened up and left for 24 hours or so.
Our previous mattress was single sided and could only be twisted, this one is double sided so it should last longer and keep its shape better. This one has a memory foam top layer which you really notice the difference on.
For the first week of sleeping on it we've had good nights sleep and it really is such a comfortable mattress.
The mattress used Tencel knitted in which helps the mattress be breathable and keep it fresh. It's ideal during the warmer months. So far we've been really impressed with the mattress and the service we've received.
If you fancy taking a look at their full range of mattresses then have a look at the Sloane & Son's website.
We were sent this mattress for the purpose of this post, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
