Florida, United States

There is one major attraction for families in Florida. And that is all the amazing theme parks! The biggest and most popular one is, of course, the Walt Disney World Resort. If your family are always watching Disney movies, this is the place for you. You will find many different rides and attractions that are all based on some of the popular films. But this isn’t the only theme park that attracts people to Florida. The Magic Kingdom is another Disney-themed park. If your kids aren’t that into Disney, there is plenty more to excite them, including the Islands of Adventure. There are some rides here themed around some blockbuster films, including Jurassic Park.

Perth, Australia

Ever wanted to go down under? When you are traveling to Australia with a family, the best place to stay in is Perth. You will find that this city is a lot more laid-back and relaxed compared to those on the east coast, especially Melbourne and Sydney. Perth also has some of the best beaches in Australia. They also tend to be quieter compared to the busy tourist traps on the east coast! There are also many things to do and see in the city. Scitech Discovery Centre is a great place to take kids. They can view the night sky and take part in interactive exhibitions at this large science museum. Perth Zoo is also a great day out for families. There are lots of Australia’s famous marsupials living in the zoo, including kangaroos. If you are lucky, you might get to stroke a koala bear!

Banff National Park, Canada

Get your visa from the Official Canada eTAs website. And then head off to Canada for an exciting trip through some of the world’s most striking landscape! Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest and possibly most famous national park. This is a great destination if you are an active family and want to spend some time exploring the outdoors. You will find plenty of opportunities to go hiking, mountain climbing, and fishing. There is a variety of accommodation to choose from in the park. For a truly Canadian experience, stay in one of the many self-catering log cabins that are dotted around the park.

California, United States

Love sun, sea, and sand? Then why not whisk your family away to the Sunshine State! California is a fantastic destination if you need to relax after a hard school year and after a busy period at work. But California isn’t just about white sandy beaches. There are also many theme parks to visit as well! Even another Disney World! Younger children will love Legoland and will find plenty of exclusive kits to spend their holiday pocket money on. The kids will also love visiting Universal Studios Hollywood where they might catch a glimpse of their favourite movie stars!

Cape Town, South Africa

This port in South Africa is an excellent destination for families. The weather is unbeatable, and there is plenty of gorgeous countryside surrounding the town which is ideal for hiking and day trips. Spend your Saturday at the Palms Market which is a large public market. You will definitely find some cool souvenirs here to take back home with you! If you want to spend some more time shopping for gifts and mementoes, head to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for even more shops. The kids will love seeing some of Africa’s native marine life at the Two Oceans Aquarium and can dip their toes into the ocean at Boulders Beach.
