Whilst walking around Trentham Gardens I spotted this boat which gives people trips over the lake. I imagine that it's a very calm and peaceful ride.
The lake area was beautiful to take photos along but with the boat and pink flowers, I think it just lifted it a little bit extra. I try to get a new portfolio photo every week and I think this might be one of them.
As a child, one of the best things to do on holiday is having a beach day. We planned a whole day just enjoying the beach. The one we found was in Llandudno which seemed to have two beaches, the first is called the North beach which is where everyone goes and the second more peaceful one is the West Beach.
The trick to getting family breaks and photography balanced is to allow the family to have fun at somewhere they want and then they're more likely to allow you to take landscape photos later in the day.
We went off and visited a place called GreenWood Forest Park which was kind of like a woodland theme park. It had huge slide rides, boat rides, a bare food walk and donkey rides which the girls loved.
I often get sent new bits of software and most I just dismiss. I'm happy using Lightroom, Aurora and Luminar and between them, they do exactly what I want.
The other day I was asked if I wanted to try a new piece of software that uses AI to edit the photo so that you don't have to do anything. The exposure, colours, etc are all sorted for you. You load a photo and the software does everything for you.
This is called PhotoLemur and I think you'll like it.
