Alone with The West Pier - #MySundayPhoto

I’ve taken so many photos of the West Pier but there are two photos, bucket shots if you will that I want to take. The first one is the West Pier with a completely white beach from the snow, next time it snows I’m heading straight down there.

The second is this one that I’m showing today. A completely empty photo just with the pier almost hovering in the water. This was taken with a long exposure and hardly a wave in the sea.

#MySundayPhoto - My Photos from the Week

I thought I’d try something a little different this year. With #MySundayPhoto ending at the end of 2018 I wanted to keep posting on a Sunday and so I think I’m going to post my photos from the previous week that I’ve shared on Instagram.

My focus this coming year really is on Instagram and growing that. It’s the social media platform that I enjoy the most. Instead of sharing photos everyday what I’m finding works for me is sharing a photo every other day.

We live in such a beautiful country and I sometimes feel like we forget that.

This photo was taken overlooking Lake Windermere in The Lake District, one of the most amazing places in the World.

#MySundayPhoto - Morning Scene

OOO I am not a fan of the dark mornings but every now and then we get treated to something a little bit special.

Whilst on my way into Lewes the other day I could see the sun starting to rise and I knew if I made the effort I could get a nice photo of the mist covering the trees as the sun added colour to the sky.

#MySundayPhoto - The Beauty of Woodland

You’d never get bored taking photos of woodlands, there is always something developing, some new life being created.

We may not have vast rolling hills nearby, but what we do have is the most wonderful woodlands. Areas so quiet and peaceful you could lose yourself for hours.

#MySundayPhoto - Beautiful Colours in Nature

Whilst walking in the local woodland looking for Intimate Landscape details I stumbled across this scene. The colours caught my eye with the rustic bark and the golden fern in the foreground.

I’d felt I’d lost some motivation and a walk amongst all the Autumn colours was the medicine that I needed.
