We’ve been lucky in Sussex with our weather, most days it’s been chilly but sunny and this has meant getting out with the camera is so much easier.

I was walking in this new woodland area the other weekend and hidden deep in the trees was this little pond area.

If you didn't know better you'd think it was a toxic area with a swamp monster hidden in it.

I'm trying to still rest my ankle and it's driving me bonkers no being able to get out and take photos.

A New Woodland Area

A New Woodland Area

Came across this new woodland area which was just down the road but never knew it was there.

It was so perfectly peaceful and for the whole time I was there, I didn't come across anyone else just lots of wildlife. 

On a less positive note, I managed to damage the ligaments in my ankle last night which isn't ideal when you go hiking in the Lake District in 2 weeks time.

Everything is in need of water, there are fields around here that were lush green a few weeks back and now look brown.
