Walking in Windermere

Walking in Windermere

I've been working on this photo for a little while, I could never get it the way I wanted. I think I might have finally got there.

This is one of the foot paths up to a wonderful viewing point over Lake Windermere. There was a little bit of rain in the air which lifted the scene.

On the Water

On the Water

There is something calming about watching boats on the water. These were all swaying gently in the breeze on Lake Windermere.

If you looked quickly you wouldn’t notice that they were moving but I tried a longer exposure and at 15 seconds you could see it ever so slightly.

How I got this Photo | Lensball Lake Windermere

I've had a lensball for a while but never really used it before. I didn't want to just take a photo with me holding it in front of the subject, it seems like everyone is taking a photo like that.

I must admit I did take a photo like that when I first got it and it received a lot of likes on Instagram but I wanted to step away from that.
