Up on the Cliffs

Up on the Cliffs

One of my favourite places to photograph, the stunning Beachy Head. This view is with my back to Beachy Head and looking towards Belle Tout and Birling Gap.

It's too easy to focus on the main lighthouse and people forget that the whole area is beautiful.

A Little Love Bird

A Little Love Bird

A little photo I captured from Drusillas Park over the weekend, makes a nice change from landscape photos.

Anyone that has visited zoos will understand the struggle of taking photos there, dealing with the reflections and sometimes the animals are in a dark part of the enclosure.

If you've never walked between Birling Gap and Beachy Head then you're really missing out. Mid-way along you'll walk past the iconic Belle Tout lighthouse which is now a beautiful and unique B&B.

This was a misty morning and I'd much rather that than a bright sunny day. I think it adds to the atmosphere.

In Need of 4K

I have a project coming up next year that requires me to produce video and I want it to be the best of the best so I'm going to be testing out a Panasonic GH4 over the next few weeks.

I found this video from someone who used it in Canada and the quality is stunning.

I work with Macphun...now Skylum on testing a using their software. In the coming weeks, a new version of Luminar will be released. This is their version of Lightroom. I've made a short video to show some of the features off.

You can purchase the software here

I also try to explain that 'The Best Camera is...' comment.

Why I Don't Use Watermarks

I wrote this piece yesterday on why I don't use watermarks. I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions on this.

You may agree or disagree but I think it's an interesting subject to cover.

What a view, I don't think I ever really took in just how huge Beachy Head is.

The walk between Birling Gap and Beachy Head is one of the most beautiful in England. Amazing views on a clear day but I was there on a misty day and it helped create the exact photos I was after.

Photo Walk in Brighton

I'm wondering if people would enjoy a photo walk in Brighton, would this be of interest?

Nothing too big just a handful of people enjoying the city and taking some photos...throw in some cake and you have yourself a good day.

Landscape Fail

I thought I'd capture some more autumn photos but it didn't quite work out that way. Sometimes it just doesn't go according to plan.

Landscape Photography | Cuckmere Haven + Trying Filters

I managed to get to a place I've been wanting to visit for a long time. The stunning Cuckmere Haven. I also try out filters...I'm sure I'm doing it wrong.
