Flower Time

As the girls have got older they have taken a bit more of an interest in gardening and Aly loves planting seeds and new flowers in the garden. Mia is starting to get there but she's more than happy to just play in the mud with her toys.

As Autumn has arrived the garden is looking a little sorry for itself so when we were offered this self-watering planter from LECHUZA we thought it was perfect to add colour to the garden.

The LECHUZA planters use a special sub-irrigation system that takes care of the plants for up to 12 weeks, which ensures they receive the right amount of water and nutrients for optimum growth. This is perfect for people who aren't totally green fingered and to help get children into gardening. At just £29.99 they would make a great gift for young and old.

Daily Photo - Flower Time

There's something about Monday's and flowers with me. I think it's because Monday's need a splash of colour to cover up the grey feel to the day.

This flower was just asking to be photographed and who was I to say no?
