It's my favourite time to get out into the woodlands, the flashes of green appearing and the blue sky adding to the scene.
When I came to this scene it had a dark foreground and a really light sky so taking a image wasn’t just a case of snapping away. To balance this I used a technic called bracketing. This is where you take 3 photos at the same time. The difference between each one is that one is perfectly exposed, one under and one overexposed.
You then merge the 3 images, I use software called Aurora and with a little bit of magic, you get an image with all the best bits.
