This was a new location that I explored first thing on one of these mornings. A completely quiet nature reserve in Lewes. It’s near an old part of railway track. I think somewhere here is an old signal box that has been turned into a hide.

One of my favourite spots in Sussex. This is a view overlooking Birling Gap. Behind me, it leads to Beachy Head and Belle Tout Lighthouse.

Just below me is a little beach area that is part of National Trust. It's a wonderful tranquil pebble beach that is a great spot for a picnic.
