Blowing Away the Cobwebs in Brighton

There's just something about visiting the beach in the Winter. The crowds have gone and normally the skies are better. Granted I wouldn't want to visit when it's raining or really windy but the sunny cold days are ideal for seascapes.

As a destination, Brighton offers photographers everything. If you travel by train you're greeted with Brighton's famous The Lanes, where you'll find shops, graffiti walls and lots of things to take photos of.

A Woodland Walk

A Woodland Walk

You can tell when the weather improves and Spring is on its way by the fact that the girls want to go on a walk in the local woods. Last weekend with the weather warming up a little bit the girls asked if we could have a walk in the woods. It was a little muddy but there were lots of signs of Spring plus it gave me the chance to grab some photographs. As a bonus the girls also let me take a few photos of them...this doesn't normally happen.

#MySundayPhoto - December has Arrived

The countdown to Christmas has begun. And to celebrate we're going Christmas shopping today.

This was taken during the week when it was a beautiful Winter's morning. The sun was starting to rise just to the right.

Have a great Sunday and I look forward to seeing everyone's photos.

Please tag the following accounts Instagram posts (@Photalife) Facebook Posts (Photalife) and Tweet me (@Photalife).

The awesome people at PhotoBox have joined in and are offering a 60 x 40cm Classic Canvas as a prize each month until the end of year. I will pick a winner at the end of the month.

The winning photo might not be from the person who took the most amazing photo but perhaps it will be a photo that tells a beautiful story, or a photo that brightened up the day.

Again thank you every much and please feel free to add the badge to the post.

#MySundayPhoto - By the River

This week's #MySundayPhoto was taken the other day and edited using Aurora HDR 2017 which is a new release of a piece of software that I love using.

I love the reflection in the water, it almost looks like glass.

Daily Photo - Autumn Colours

There is a time in the last few days of summer when the ripeness of autumn fills the air.

October Calendars

It seemed last month that the calendars went down pretty well so I have made a few more for October.

There are once again two different sizes one of which is ideal for a desktop and the other can be printed and pinned on a wall.

I have also created a phone background which can be used also. It's a floral number with the hope it brightens up the gloomy October days.

If you click on the image it will open up a larger version and then right click and save as. You are then free to use it on which ever computer or screen you like.

The next version is ideal if you wish to print it out and put in on the wall or notice board. You can follow the same instructions above. This will be ok to print out at size A3 or below.

For the phone background you can save it on your computer and transfer it across of simply save it on the mobile device.

You are FREE to use these for personal use and not for resell. All I ask is you follow my accounts on social media as a little thank you.
