Landscape Videos

It's been too long for a landscape video, this was the last one I made. I will try to make a new one this weekend with a new ND filter to try out. There is also a new software video coming out next week...but I'm not allowed to talk about it yet.

#MySundayPhoto - Heather in Bloom

The other evening I visited Ashdown Forest in search of heather, I'd heard someone mention that is in bloom on the forest.

I'd searched for a little while and hadn't found any until I found a secret location that had some full of colour and looking over towards the old windmill.

Ashdown Forest Cows

Ashdown Forest is one of those places that always offers you something. It could simply be getting some fresh air or enjoying an ice cream from van that always seems to be there.

While there a few weeks back I also recorded a new landscape video, in this I'll give a few tips and talk about the photos I'm taking.

Beauty in Black & White

Daily Photo - Beauty in Black & White

When you convert a photo to black & white it gives it a new lease of life. This is a photo from Ashdown Forest that was in colour but I thought it had a calming peaceful feel to it in black & white.

It's not always about the perfectly taken photograph, the most glamourous of locations but just getting outside and enjoying some fresh air.

I'm lucky enough to live on the edge of Ashdown Forest and when the skies are blue it's hard to find anywhere better to blow the cobwebs away.

Landscape Photography - Ashdown Forest

I'm back again with a landscape video, this was filmed up on Ashdown Forest. I plan on making more videos like this and as the Luminar Editing series has ended this should allow me more time to get out with the camera.

This was filmed on a beautiful day with lovely blue skies, the only issue was the lack on colour in the landscape.

Sometimes you just need to go out with a camera and get some fresh air. The photo might not be perfect but it was so good just to enjoy the blue skies.

My eye is still not back to normal so I've been lacking on the whole taking photos thing, so here is a photo from Ashdown Forest.

#MySundayPhoto - Landscape Fail

#MySundayPhoto - Landscape Fail

This past week I had high hopes, I had a week off work and plans to get lots sorted. I was going to capture some beautiful photographs and make a couple of videos.

What actually happened was I got a horrible eye infection and it's meant I haven't been able to look at the computer for longer than 5 minutes.

This was the only photo I managed to really capture this week.

#MySundayPhoto - Forest Love

No flowers this week instead #MySundayPhoto is my beautiful Mia. I can't believe that in under 6 months my baby girl will be 6 years old. This photo was taken up on Ashdown Forest where we went for a little walk last Sunday.

Mia doesn't mind having her photo taken which is music to my ears...I'm not convinced that will last for much longer.

Have an awesome day, I look forward to seeing everyone's photos and I'll be commenting over the coming week.

Please tag the following accounts Instagram posts (@Photalife) Google+ Posts (+DarrenColeshill) Facebook Posts (Photalife) and Tweet me (@Photalife).

The awesome people at PhotoBox have joined in and are offering a 60 x 40cm Classic Canvas as a prize each month until the end of year. I will pick a winner at the end of the month.

The winning photo might not be from the person who took the most amazing photo but perhaps it will be a photo that tells a beautiful story, or a photo that brightened up the day.

Again thank you every much and please feel free to add the badge to the post.
