Waterlilies

Waterlilies

Sheffield Park is quite possibly my happy place, it's so beautiful no matter what time of the year you visit. At the moment it's bursting with colour especially the waterlilies.

The waterlilies are looking amazing across all the ponds at @sheffield_park_and_garden, make sure you pop along to their Waterlily Festival starts on Saturday 9 June.

Honestly it won't disappoint.

It's at this time of year when National Trust gardens really come into their own, the flowers, the trees and the wildlife.

Our local garden Sheffield Park is simply stunning, they have the most beautiful waterlilies filling the ponds. Mix this with the wonderful rhododendrons their really isn't a better sight at this time of the year.

#MySundayPhoto - Frosty Scene

This is the view I was after, the frosty grass and the golden sun starting to rise. This for me sums up this time of year perfectly.

This was taken using the new Google Pixel 2 phone and oh my it's a cracker...possibly the first phone that has made me think I could get rid of everything else and just use this.

Have a wonderful Christmas and thank you to everyone that joins in with #MySundayPhoto week after week.

Daily Photo - Bluebells

Over the weekend I went for a little walk to see if I could find some bluebells. There was a few dotted around but it was probably a week or so too early for them to be fully open.

#MySundayPhoto - Prettiness

Last weekend we went on a visit to the beautiful National Trust property Sheffield Park. This was for an Easter Egg Hunt but also to take photos.

Although there wasn't as much colour as I was expecting we still managed to find some.

#MySundayPhoto - Landscape Fail

This past week I had high hopes, I had a week off work and plans to get lots sorted. I was going to capture some beautiful photographs and make a couple of videos.

What actually happened was I got a horrible eye infection and it's meant I haven't been able to look at the computer for longer than 5 minutes.

This was the only photo I managed to really capture this week.
