The other evening I had a little walk around the local woodlands which leads into the grounds of a hotel which is very popular with weddings.

Where we live we have got the luxury of being equal distance from both Brighton and Eastbourne, however, it’s Brighton we always seem to visit.

It's my favourite time to get out into the woodlands, the flashes of green appearing and the blue sky adding to the scene.
When I came to this scene it had a dark foreground and a really light sky so taking a image wasn’t just a case of snapping away. Read More
It's a such a gorgeous time of year to head into your local woodlands. I love this time of year.
The colours are perfect, the trees full of green leaves, flowers popping up everywhere and if you can find a little walkway of rustic colour it makes a great contrast and a subject to draw people into the photo. Read More
It’s too easy to think of Brighton as just seaside and piers but away from that you’ve got the shopping, the places to eat and the wonderful Lanes to explore.
